The Kids program at Pitzis Kinderhotel promises new adventures for the whole family every day. Look forward to exciting activities on your family holiday in Tyrol in winter such as pony rides in the snow, playful children's ski carousel, creative crafts and fun children's yoga. A special highlight is building snowmen together and romping around in the ball pool with 5000 balls. In the evening, the children's disco invites you to dance and the story time provides cosy moments. Visiting the animals on the children's farm is also possible in winter, and a bouncy castle provides additional fun. Children's make-up can be applied to make little dreams come true. In addition, an exciting evening of sledging and tobogganing by moonlight is offered twice a week.

First attempts at skiing made fun and easy in Bambiniland

Pitzis Bambiniland is the ideal place for the very youngest skiers aged two to five to gain their first experience on skis in a playful way. Located directly in front of the children's hotel in Tyrol, it offers perfect conditions for the first turns in the snow. Equipped with a magic carpet as a climbing aid, a children's carousel and its own toboggan slope, skiing is great fun. A warming room provides cosy breaks.

Sledging and tobogganing in Tyrol

A winter paradise for toboggan fans awaits you right next to the Pitzis Kinderhotel. The hotel's own toboggan run promises pure fun in the snow and is perfect for speedy descents. A special highlight is moonlight tobogganing. Twice a week, guests have the opportunity to whizz down into the valley on the floodlit toboggan run right by the hotel until 22:00.

Winter hikes in the Pitztal

Enjoy the fresh mountain air on family-friendly routes such as the Galtwiesen winter hiking trail. Every Tuesday there is also the option of a glacier hike with snowshoes to the ice caves of the Taschachferner.

Ice skating and curling

The ice rink at the Piller fish pond in Wenns invites you to glide elegantly. At Lake Stillebach you can ice skate and curling under the stars until 11pm. At Mountain Camp Pitztal in Jerzens, free ice skating is possible from 4 pm.

Cross-country skiing

The cross-country ski trail network in Pitztal covers a total of 70 kilometres. The Galtwiesen trail is ideal for all levels of experience. The Jerzens Fischteich trail winds its way through picturesque countryside and the Kaunergrat Nature Park cross-country skiing centre offers further trails. Beginners can take taster courses at the Race Centre Benni Raich.

Ice climbing

Experience the fascination of ice climbing in the Taschach Gorge For advanced climbers, there are spectacular ice falls of up to 190 metres, including Tyrol's highest ice climbing route in the Pitztal Glacier with six ice waterfalls.

Hochzeiger Ski School - Learn to ski with fun and success

The Hochzeiger ski school, honoured with the Quality Award of the Tyrolean ski schools, guarantees first-class instruction by certified professionals. Children and adults learn to ski here, from beginners to advanced skiers. The highlight for children is PITZI's Kinderbergpark in the Hochzeiger ski area, an approx. 7,000 m² practice area at the Hochzeiger middle station with children's carousel, SunKid conveyor belts and warm-up stage. The PITZI EXPRESS takes little skiers comfortably to the drag lift. Specially trained children's ski instructors ensure lots of fun and enjoyment.
